Welcome to St Lidia's Edenvale

I find it terribly difficult to articulate how passionate I am about children and their development. I chose to name the school after my grandmother. She was the most caring, strong and devoted woman with the most genuine and sincere love for children and learning. I decided to open this school to embody this passion that she passed on to me and provide a sanctuary where children can be nurtured. I believe it takes a certain kind of person to be able to deal with 'small people' everyday. Not everybody can, and not 'just anybody', should. Raising a child is the greatest personal responsibility anyone ever has.

Choosing the right nursery school for your children can often be a very daunting and overwhelming so not only do we value your children but we also value you, the parents. It is important for us to provide care and compassion for our children’s parents. We are aware that you are leaving your most precious gift in our hands and so we aim to ensure that you are completely comfortable with our school’s reliable and nurturing environment. Our school is designed to feel like a home away from home for children and their families; a place where parents can feel confident that their children are receiving the very best care and education.

My job is a wonderful one. It is extremely rewarding and satisfying. It is so much fun but, most importantly, it is a privilege. I look forward to meeting you and your child and hopefully have the pleasure of taking you through our wonderful school.
